Real estate careers do not all follow the same path. Realty, Inc. exists so Texas agents have
options when the way they want to work changes.
Why we are here
You are more than your next transaction.
You invested time, effort, and care in earning your license. You built relationships
with people who trust you. Those things still matter when life takes you in a different direction.
Maybe you want fewer obligations. Maybe you want to build a business in apartment locating. Maybe you
are taking a break from sales and want a way back when the time is right.
Realty, Inc. provides active sponsorship, focused plans, and a connection to the Realty Texas
organization—so you can choose the work that fits.
Start the affiliated-company transfer request through your Agent Dashboard. Let the team know about
active clients, files, and other commitments before changing sponsorship.
02
Complete the transition
Follow the approved TREC sponsorship and onboarding process. Your account, branding, and available
tools are updated for the receiving company and approved plan.
03
Work within your new role
At Realty Texas, complete the required membership and MLS steps and confirm competency approval or
mentorship before transacting. Ready to step back later? Request a return to Realty, Inc.
No company transfer fee applies solely to an approved move between these affiliated
brokerages. Return to your previous Realty Texas AgentOS unless a different model is approved; changing
models may carry a fee. Third-party fees, existing obligations, and plan-specific costs remain separate.
People first
We are Realty!
Your pace may change. Your place in this profession can keep growing.
We believe a brokerage should make room for different stages of an agent’s life. That means
listening, explaining your options, and helping you understand the responsibilities that come with
each path.
Our connected companies give agents room to refer, locate, or return to transactions—with the
appropriate sponsorship, tools, and support for the work.
Are Realty, Inc. and Realty Texas the same brokerage?
No. Realty, Inc. and Realty Texas, LLC are separate companies with separate sponsorships, agreements,
fees, branding, and authorized activities. They are affiliated, and the approved transfer process
connects them.
Does switching brokerages immediately authorize a transaction?
No. Complete the approved transfer, effective sponsorship, agreements, onboarding, and broker
authorizations first. Your receiving plan determines access and permitted services. Account changes
are processed through the company’s scheduled reconciliation.
Who decides whether I need a mentor at Realty Texas?
The broker approves independent practice. Realty Texas tracks competency through its internal credit
system and dashboard. Those credits support the broker’s review; they do not replace TREC’s coaching
and assistance requirements. A mentor must be arranged before providing services that require
mentorship.
Will all of my tools and benefits move with me?
Your access follows your approved plan. Some email, phone, website, data, and other services change
or end during a transfer. Review the transfer terms with the team, including any effect on tenure,
benefits, and existing files.
